An introduction to the Bird Song of Poland

This CD is a representative of some of the 220 plus birds which can be seen and heard during the Polish Bird Festival. It is held annually in May and for many years WildWings, in conjunction with the Polish Bird Service have been attending this festival with countless numbers of birders enjoying many memorable experiences including seeing a number of mammals such as beaver, boar, elk, bison, lynx and otter as well as butterflies, reptiles, amphibians, insects and flowers.

Of the 69 species on the CD, most were recorded in the Bialowieza Forest which is in eastern Poland on the Belarus border, the others were recorded in the Biebrza Marshes.
